2. What the Extension Does
Wallet Highlighter is a free Chrome browser extension that detects cryptocurrency wallet addresses on the websites you visit and highlights them with a colour-coded risk indicator (red, amber, or green) based on our assessment of the wallet’s risk profile.
3. What Data We Collect.
When you use the Extension, we collect:
• Wallet addresses detected on web pages you visit
• Email addresses displayed on web pages, where associated with wallet activity
• URLs of pages where wallet addresses are detected
• Your IP address
• Device and browser information (browser type, version, operating system)

5. Automated Risk Scoring
The Extension produces automated risk scores for cryptocurrency wallet addresses based on their historical associations with threat actors and other risk factors. These scores are advisory only and are provided to help you make informed decisions. They do not constitute automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects on any individual.
6. Who We Share Data With
- Group companies — we share data with affiliated companies within our corporate group for the purposes described in this notice, including fraud detection and financial crime prevention.
- Service providers — third parties who help us operate the Extension (hosting, infrastructure, technical support), acting on our behalf under written agreements.
- Authorised bodies — where required by law or where we have a legitimate basis, we may share data with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, or other authorised public bodies.
- Corporate Change - In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or for marketing purposes.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data is processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, which benefit from mutual adequacy decisions. 10. Third-Party Data Subjects
If your wallet address or email address has been processed because it appeared on a publicly accessible website visited by an Extension user, the rights in section 9 apply to you too. Our lawful basis for processing your data is legitimate interest in supporting fraud detection and financial crime prevention. Contact us using the details set out below to exercise your rights.
11. Children
The Extension is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
13. Third-Party Websites
The Extension operates on third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. This notice applies only to data collected by the Extension itself.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Extension or Chrome Web Store listing.
